1. Overview
DokuFix is a photo documentation app for tradespeople. The app was deliberately built to run entirely locally on your device: there is no user account, no sign-in, no server operated by us and no cloud synchronisation. Your projects, photos and company details never leave your device.

3. Data processed on the device
The following content is created by you in the app and stored exclusively on your device (in a local database and in the app file system):
- Project data (project name, optionally customer, address, notes)
- Photos you take or import, together with their category (Before/During/After), date and note
- Company profile for the PDF (company name, owner, address, contact, logo)
This data is not transmitted to us or to third parties. It remains on your device until you delete it in the app or by uninstalling.
4. Device permissions
- Camera: only to take photos for your documentation.
- Photo library: only to import photos you select into a project.
Access happens exclusively on the device and only when you use the respective feature.
5. Purchases (DokuFix Pro)
The one-time purchase of “DokuFix Pro” is processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment processing and all payment data lie solely with Apple or Google; we receive no payment or credit card data.
To verify and unlock your Pro status we use the service RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA). In doing so, an anonymous, random app user ID as well as the purchase receipt/transaction status are processed. There is no link to your name or other identity data and no advertising tracking. 6. App updates
The app can load minor program updates via the service “Expo Updates” (Expo, USA). For technical reasons, connection data such as the IP address and basic device/version information is transmitted to the update servers in order to deliver the matching update. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, up-to-date app).
7. No tracking, no advertising
DokuFix contains no analytics tools, no advertising and no cross-device tracking. No data is collected or shared for advertising purposes.
8. Transfer to third countries
The services named under sections 5 and 6 (RevenueCat, Expo) are based in the USA. A transfer only takes place to the technically necessary extent described there and on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or a valid adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
9. Retention period
Your content remains on your device for as long as you keep it. You can delete individual photos and projects in the app at any time, or remove all app data by uninstalling.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the rights to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Since we ourselves store no personal data about you, these rights mainly concern the processing named under sections 5 and 6. Please contact the address given above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
